Dear friends!

Vsevolod Krylov, Director of Oil&Gas Program
Vsevolod Krylov,
Director of Oil&Gas Program
This year turned out to be a successful year for Russia. The Russian Federation elected a new president. A young and open-minded person. Our ice-hockey team got golden medals in a hard fight with Canadian players. Zenit concured UEFA Cup. The sport events were supported by our pop-diva Dima Bilan who managed to win the Eurovision contest – for the first time in the history of our country. The year is not over yet and we are looking for new challenges. One of them we know for sure. A new admission at the Stockholm School of Economics.

We carefully select the people with knowledge and experience. Mature people who know exactly what they want to get. Stockholm School of Economics is a school for those who have reached a certain level of own development and is aimed at new horizons and capabilities.

Our program Oil and Gas / Industrial Sector is formed for you who are a part of a big company. Big corporations offer different tasks and they perform under different conditions. While small and medium-sized companies are fighting hard for an extra per cent of the market share, our industrial giants live with a sense of possessing a monopoly at least in the region where they are situated. It makes it all very different! That’s why we decided to prepare a special set of lectures where you will repeat the things you probably learned or got to know through own experience. Just in order to structure your knowledge. Special lectures on the modern trends in the well-known fields like marketing and human resource management. You get also a short introduction into finance and then you won’t get mad when you hear accountants speaking. And, of course, there is a unique part in our program which is dedicated to the subjects which are related to the industrial sector. Mergers and acquisitions, corporation behavior and much more of the kind. Additionally, we invite guest-speakers who represent the practical side and show how they use and adapt the new ideas at their factories.

Our program is based on the standard MBA program which was approved in Sweden and directly imported to Russia. Our special feature is that exactly the same teachers from Stockholm who teach at Stockholm School of Economics are coming to Russia to share their knowledge. You get in Russia the same education as you would get if you studied abroad. And what’s more – the program Oil and Gas / Industrial Sector is adapted to those, who are not sure about their English. All lectures are simultaneously translated into Russian and all materials are distributed in Russian. You get a copy in English too, because – who knows? – maybe by the end of the two-years course you master English.

And the last but not least thing – our program focuses on interactive relationship between participants, as well as faculty members, which is expected to wake the spirit of Leadership and Creativity, since only inspired people drive success. You meet bright people from various places and industries. They have a lot to give you if are interested. They can open your eyes and show you a different perspective of what you do now. You dare? Then we meet soon.
